Uden International All-Breed Show

Uden International All-Breed Show (Holland)

Pitlochry's O'Bryan Orak wins CAC, CACIB - Best Male, Best of Breed and 3rd BEST IN GROUP from an exceptionnally strong Group 10 at Uden CACIB Show (approx 2200 entries in total!). Breed judge was Mr H. O'Donoghue of Ireland and group judge was Mr Gerard Jipping from the Netherlands. Best of Opposite Sex to him was his 2-year-old daughter Pitlochry's Irish Gipsey, who got a wonderful report from Mr O'Donoghue.

Luxembourg Wandhond Festival

June 24th, 2012

A Pitlochry's Catweazle offspring, JWW'12 Just in Time of First Avenue wins CACL, Best Male, Best of Breed and BEST IN SHOW at the prestigous Luxembourg Sighthound Festival. Breed judge was Zeferino Silva from Portugal, Best in Show judge was Anna Theresa Stuifbergen of the Netherlands.

'James' is owned-handled by Gary Janssens of the Kilmara irish wolfhounds from Belgium. Congrats to you guys!

Shows in Italia

Terni & Orvieto International All-Breed Shows

June 16th, 2012

Our Grand Prix Roan Inish (Pitlochry's Catweazle x Crazy Casy Roan Inish), currently stationed at Mangialupi kennel in Italy, wins two times CAC, CACIB and Best of Breed under judges Orietta Zilli of Italy and Andrew Brace of the United Kingdom at the prestigous Italian Terni and Orvieto CACIB Shows. On Saturday she was shorlisted to the 5 best sighthounds of the group, on Sunday unfortunately the current owner-handler, Marcello Poli had to leave before the finals started, thus could not represent the breed in the Best in group competition.

Mr Brace's critique: "3 1/2 years. Excellent overall type. Beautiful head and expression. Correct mouth, Excellent overall balance. Strong bone. Pleasing outline. Could have a little more spring of ribs. Really excellent mover up and down, easy profile."

Umag CACIB Shows

Skibberdeen's Aphrodita (Pitlochry's Catweazle x Pitlochry's Venus) wins two times CAC, CACIB, Best of Breed, Best of Group 3 on Saturday and Runner Up Best of Group on Sunday at Umag International All-Breed Shows in Croatia.

Aphrodita was bred by Christa Hermsen of Holland and is owned by Michael Nikityuk Pyantnitca irish wolfhounds from Russia.

The Ramses x Venice puppies are born!

We are thrilled to announce that Pitlochry's Venice gave birth to 6 puppies (3 males and 3 females) on June 11th!

Tilburg International All-Breed Show 09.06.2012

Our Cualainn Huldah (Pitlochry's Rolex x Cualainn Persia) wins CAC, CACIB, Best of Breed and BEST OF GROUP in a high-quality line-up of group 10 (all sighthound breeds were present!) under well-respected judge Jan G. Coppens of the Netherlands at the prestigous Tilburg International All-Breed Show in Holland.

Pitlochry's O'Bryan Orak went CAC and CACIB, but had to leave honour of representing the breed in the finals to Huldah when competing for Best of Breed.

Huldah was bred by Jonathan Harvey (UK) and handled by Anna Szabo (H).
